November 2015 in Review

Wow I’ve been bad about keeping up on the blog this month…my bad, heh. This monthly wrap-up is coming in a bit late (like, 1.5 hours until December late) but at least it happened! I’m still trying to ramp myself up to edit pics, write, then post on the blog after a long day of work. Perhaps I need a bit of blogspiration – what are some of your favorite blogs?

Anyway, here’s a few happenings that I shared about this month:

Famous Washington D.C. Landmarks

That one time when I went to D.C. and saw 10 billion monuments in under 2 hours. Please don’t do that.

Corning Museum of Glass

Corning Museum of Glass
Beautiful works of glass at Corning Museum.

Dallas Arboretum Pumpkin Village

Welcoming fall with open arms and lots and lots of pumpkins.

Snapshots: Autumn at the Arboretum

Dallas Arboretum
My favorite tree tunnel.

Whirlpool State Park

Whirlpool State Park
So beautiful I could’ve cried.

Murals of Deep Ellum

One of the coolest Dallas neighborhoods I’ve explored.

A Polar Escape

St. Louis Zoo Polar Bear
Back to STL to visit my people and my animals.

And I still have plenty of pictures and adventures to share – I’ve just been too lazy. Ah, so keep me accountable would ya? What excites or motivates you to write?

IRL (In Real Life)

Books:

Witch & Wizard
An Abundance of Katherines
An Ember in the Ashes

TV/Movies:

  • Orphan Black. Omg so much Orphan Black over Thanksgiving Break.
  • Still need to see Spectre and Hunger Games. Thoughts?

How was your month?

Thanks for reading!

  • I need to still see Hunger Games too! Hope you have a very festive December 🙂

  • Awesome photos! I love how colorful they are!

  • Murals in Deep Ellum and a pumpkin village at the Dallas Arboretum? I need to start exploring my home city a bit more. I also love all of your pictures of the D.C. landmarks! Did you have a chance to see the Einstein memorial while you were in D.C.? It’s definitely stylistically different than most other D.C. monuments.

    • Thank you! I did not…we basically just passed through the city and continued on to Niagara Falls. However, I’m hoping to go back next year! What other D.C. places would you recommend?

I’m so excited to hear that you’re also from the area! Definitely share about your thoughts/adventures in the city! I’d love to know what’s going on.

  • You’ve had such a fun month. I love it!

  • It looks like you had so many fun adventures this month! November really went by so fast, I can’t believe it’s December already. I need to see Hunger Games too, although I’ve heard mixed reviews on it. Hope you’re having a great week, girl!

    • Well I sure tried!
Oh yeah a lot of people said they were disappointed by it. But I want to see it for the sake of completing the trilogy! Hope you have a nice week too.
