I can’t believe October is over already! So much has happened this month, including multiple trips outside of the “St. Louis Bubble.” It all started with a 3-day conference (retreat) out in nature with my fellowship (click on photos to read each post):

Unfortunately, my camera battery ran out of juice right after we left Shedd Aquarium, so I could only take photos with my little iPhone for the rest of the night. Well…here’s a little taste of what Chicago’s infamous Navy Pier was like:
Right after my friends and I left Millennium Park, we walked along the marina to Shedd Aquarium. The city sure looked great at dusk. All those lights in the distance? That’s Navy Pier, which was our next and final destination for the day.
