Both the Houston Museum of Natural Science and Cockrell Butterfly Center were located within the larger Hermann Park. We luckily got to catch the last rays of daylight outside after visiting the museums.
As I mentioned in my Houston Museum of Natural Science post, the Cockrell Butterfly Center was attached to the main museum building. I suggest visiting the center for an up-close and personal encounter with butterflies…you’ll see why soon!
