Thought I was done blogging about my Texas road trip to Austin, San Antonio, and Houston, did you? Not yet…here’s a final Texas Road Trip Round-up of photos that didn’t quite fit in any of the TX Road Trip ’14 posts but I liked enough to share:
Both the Houston Museum of Natural Science and Cockrell Butterfly Center were located within the larger Hermann Park. We luckily got to catch the last rays of daylight outside after visiting the museums.
Houston has a really great museum district. The museums are clustered together so I could easily spend an entire day museum-hopping. At last, what everyone goes to Sea World for – the animal shows! We watched four shows in one afternoon. Two were dolphin & beluga whale shows and the other two were killer whale shows. The dolphins below weren’t the bottlenose dolphins we’re used to seeing; they’re Pacific white-sided dolphins.
